About Zuluk
Also referred to as Dzuluk, Zuluk, Jaluk or Jhulu, this small hamlet is located in East Sikkim at a height of about 2,900m. This offbeat destination offers beautiful and clear views of the Kanchenjunga and other eastern Himalayan mountain ranges. Previously, it was a popular transit point from India to Tibet on the ancient Silk Route. There is snowfall of approximately 3 to 5 ft. between October & February. Wild virgin forests surround this place. Wild animals like the red panda, Himalayan bear, wild dogs, deer and even tigers are sighted here.
